Is there any good about this loss ?
Today we lost 2–1. Everyone knows that—we all watched the game. The referee was fair throughout; even though we thought he might make some questionable calls before the match, he didn’t.
Honestly, Real Madrid beat us not only in the game but also with their tactics. They managed to stop one of our best players, Pedri. As for Lamine, it seems like his mind wasn’t fully on football today. I hope this serves as a lesson for him—he’s still only 18 years old, and we expect a lot from such a young talent, so I’m calm about him.
Let’s talk about the positives. Flick was watching the game, not from the bench, and that’s a good thing. Just like Luis Enrique did last year with PSG, he observed the match as a supporter. That way, he can clearly see what’s wrong with this team. Now he should have a better idea of how poor our defense has been this season. Hopefully, he’ll make some changes after the next international break, because if not, Barça will face serious problems.
After all, it’s a loss—we hate it, but hopefully it’s just a lesson we can learn from. It’s still a long season, and there’s time to improve. We have a good team.
Visca Barça! Visca Catalunya!
